About

Welcome to Uncluttered Lanes. My name is Amy Lane and I am the Founder and CEO of Uncluttered Lanes. I started this business to help others who have cluttered spaces due to a busy life. I have lived in clutter most of my life.

My mom became really ill when I was a child and was bedridden for a few months and never really fully recovered. I didn’t really learn how to take care of a house properly. For example, most of the time we did laundry twice a month, but once in a while we did laundry once a month because of finances. That means we had enough clothes to wash once a month and not re-wear anything. Laundry would take a few hours to wash, dry, and put away.

Dishes would be done about once a week or maybe even longer. We had plenty of dishes for just two people to wash them a minimum of once a week. I would even use anything I could as a dish so that I could procrastinate washing dishes. My mom was so sick that I had to do the cooking. We ate a lot of t.v. dinners until my mom could start cooking. During this time I did learn how to cook other things.

We had a small apartment and large furniture, I don’t remember dusting anything. Actually, I don’t remember cleaning the toilet, bathtub, vacuuming the floors, but our place never seemed dirty except for dishes and laundry. Eventually, I learned how to declutter, organize, and clean my home. Now I would love to help you organize your home and life so that you can spend more time doing the things you love with the ones you love. Home is where it starts. How can Uncluttered Lanes help you reduce stress, save money, and create more time for you and your family? Don’t hesitate to contact me to get started.
